I believe music says a lot about us. My first record was Quiet Riot Metal Health. My first CD Pearl Jam Ten. My first digital download Tame Impala Elephant. I didn’t have an eight track…but my first tape was Cyndi Lauper “She’s so unusual” …my therapist still hasn’t figured out what this means about me.

Born in Alberta, Johnny Chops has been making his home in BC for over a decade.  Chops met his better half Jessica in the East Koots in 2009 before tying the knot in Windermere in March of 2016: it’s nothing short of a dream to be back in the area.  Married with c̶h̶i̶l̶d̶r̶e̶n̶  cat, Chops enjoys watching sports, he loves to laugh and digs music from TOOL, Pearl Jam and Matt Mays, to name a few.

A longtime resident of Kimberley, Darren’s The Drive’s music encyclopedia. If there’s a concert at The Key City Theatre or down at BC Place, chances are Darren’s going or knows someone who is. Find him in the Nature Park with his Jack Russells or on air from 6-10pm.
